Terms of Service and Subscription Terms

Dragy Moto Lab and Chainline are apps of E-Splice LLC. These terms are an agreement between you and E-Splice LLC (“E-Splice”, “we”, “us”). They cover dragymotolab.e-splice.com, the Chainline web app and the Chainline Android app (together, “Chainline” or the “service”). By creating an account or using Chainline you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, don’t use the service.

1. Who can use Chainline

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to create an account or buy a subscription. You must give accurate account information and keep your password secure. You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us right away at support@e-splice.com if you think someone else has used it.

2. The service

Chainline provides calculators and tools for motorcycle gearing, chain length, tire size, power to weight, dyno logs, weather, GPS timing, times corrections and ignition-timing estimates. Tools come in two tiers: Lite (free) and Pro (paid). The app shows which tools and gearing-bench sections need Pro. We may change, add or remove tools or move them between tiers. The Android app opens the same web app and needs an internet connection.

3. Estimates only; ride safely

All results are estimates for comparison, not measurements or professional advice. Gearing data is compiled from manuals, spec sheets and catalogs and may be wrong. Pull times are modeled. Phone GPS timing is not a certified timeslip. Weather and density-altitude corrections are estimates.
Spark (ignition) is an educational estimate only. Don’t flash its numbers into an ECU without a wideband, knock detection and a load dyno. Too much ignition advance can destroy an engine.
Check sprockets, chain pitch and link count on your motorcycle before ordering or fitting parts.
Use the GPS timer only where it is legal and safe, such as a closed course or track. Obey traffic laws. Never handle your phone while riding.
You are responsible for how you use the results and for your motorcycle, your safety and others’ safety.

4. Chainline Pro subscription

Price: $4.99 USD per month on the website. Taxes may apply. The price shown at checkout is the price you pay.
Free trial: 7 days, one per customer. A card or PayPal account is required to start it, and you pay $0 when the trial starts. If you have had a Chainline trial or subscription before, billing starts immediately. We email you a reminder 3 days before the trial ends. If you don’t cancel before the trial ends, the subscription starts and you are charged $4.99.
Automatic renewal: your subscription renews automatically every month until you cancel, and you authorize us to charge your saved payment method through Stripe or PayPal on each renewal date.
Cancellation: cancel anytime in My Account › Subscriptions. Cancelling stops future renewals. Pro stays on until the end of the period you have paid for (or the end of the trial), then the account returns to Lite. Deleting your account at /delete-account/ cancels the subscription immediately.
Refunds: fees already paid are not refundable, including for partial months, except where required by law. You can cancel anytime and keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for.
Failed payments: if a renewal payment fails, we retry after 1, 3 and 7 days. Pro is paused while payment is overdue and returns once payment succeeds. If the last retry fails, the subscription is cancelled.
Price changes: we may change prices for future billing periods. We will tell you in advance, and a change applies from your next renewal. You can cancel before it takes effect.
Where you buy: on the website (and in the Android app downloaded from our website), Chainline Pro is sold through our checkout and billed by Stripe or PayPal as described above.

4a. Chainline Pro bought through Google Play

Billing: in the Android app installed from Google Play, Chainline Pro is sold through Google Play Billing. Google charges your Google Play payment method, renews the subscription and shows the price (in your local currency) and any free trial before you buy. The Google Play Terms of Service also apply.
Free trial: Google Play decides whether your Google account can get the free trial. One trial per person: if you already had a Chainline trial or subscription on the website, we may not give a second free period, and Pro may start without a trial.
Cancel and manage: cancel or change it in the Google Play app (Profile › Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions) or from “Manage in Google Play” in Chainline. Deleting your Chainline account does not cancel a Google Play subscription, so cancel it in Google Play first. After you cancel, Pro stays on until the end of the period you paid for.
Refunds: our no-refund rule above applies, and purchases made through Google Play also follow Google Play’s refund policy. Refund requests for Google Play purchases go to Google.
Failed payments: Google may give a grace period or put the subscription on hold while it retries the payment. Pro stays on during a grace period and is paused while the subscription is on hold.

5. Acceptable use

Don’t misuse the service. For example, don’t try to get Pro features without a valid subscription or trial, share your account, copy, resell or scrape the service or its data, interfere with or overload it or its API, reverse engineer it except where the law allows, or use it for anything illegal. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

6. Your data and content

Data you enter stays yours. Most of it is stored only on your device (see the Privacy Policy), so back it up with the export options where available; we can’t recover it if it is deleted from your device. You give us permission to process the data we hold to provide the service.

7. Our intellectual property

Chainline, its software, design, text and data are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the web app and to install and use the Android app on devices you own or control, under these terms. “Dragy” and other product names are the property of their owners. Chainline is not affiliated with or endorsed by Dragy Motorsports or any motorcycle manufacturer or retailer.

8. Third-party services and links

Chainline uses third-party data and services (such as Open-Meteo, RainViewer, BigDataCloud, the US National Weather Service, OpenStreetMap and ipwho.is), payment processors (Stripe and PayPal) and links to other websites (such as parts retailers and dragy-decryptor.d3vl.com). We aren’t responsible for third-party services, content or availability. Their own terms apply. If you got the Android app from Google Play, Google is not responsible for Chainline or for support.

9. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent the law allows, Chainline is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We don’t promise that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free or that results will be accurate.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits or damage to vehicles or engines, arising from your use of Chainline or its results. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

11. Indemnity

You agree to cover our reasonable losses and costs from claims caused by your breach of these terms or your misuse of the service.

12. Ending the service

You can stop using Chainline and delete your account at any time at /delete-account/. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or if we stop offering the service. If we stop offering Pro, we will cancel subscriptions so no further payments are taken.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Mississippi, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Mississippi, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that can’t be waived.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will post the new version here with a new effective date and, for significant changes, tell you by email or in the app before they apply. If you keep using Chainline after the changes take effect, you accept them.
