Power to weight

How to work out power to weight for you and your bike.

What it does

Power to weight combines the active bike’s claimed horsepower and wet weight with your rider-and-gear weight.

1. Enter the numbers

  1. Open Power to weight from the hub.
  2. Rider + gear (lb), horsepower (crank, claimed) and bike wet weight (lb). Results update as you type.

2. Read the result

  • hp per ton: horsepower per 2,000 lb of bike plus rider.
  • Weight per hp: lb/hp.
  • Watts per kg.

3. Save

Tap Save on this bike to keep the rider weight and the bike’s horsepower and weight. Roll-on pulls uses them.

Where the numbers live
